This spectacular marine scene features a wonderfully preserved 23.5” fossil ray (Rombopterygia) associated with an eel (Anguillavus) and a small fish (Guadryella).
Locality: Haqil - Byblos - Lebanon. Age: Cenomanian, Upper Cretaceous, C4, 100 million years old.
Though there is repair to the matrix the fossil specimens are essentially unrestored, with only minor touch ups along the repair lines.
