This wonderfully preserved fossil cricket (Gryllidae sp.) was found in the world-famous Crato Formation, near Ceara, Brazil. It dates back to the Lower Cretaceous Period - 110 million years ago. The level of detail is excellent and there is absolutely no restoration.
Measures 0.66 inches (1.69 cm). Matrix is 3.67 inch (9.3 cm) long.
