  • This monstrous fossil shark tooth (Carcharocles megalodon) is a true collector piece. It's highly desirable because of its incredible size (5.95 inches long and 5 inches wide), completeness (including bourrelet), gorgeous colour, and quality of preservation. The enamel is very glossy and the root is in phenomenal condition; it also has sharp serrations and a pointed tip. There is a small area of natural feeding wear near (but not on) the tip. This rare tooth is totally unrestored and unpolished.
  • River find, near Richmond Hill, Georgia, USA.
  • Approx. 4-5 million years old
  • A must-have tooth for the serious collector!
  • The largest predatory fish to ever swim the oceans, megalodon measured 10 feet for every inch of shark tooth length. Astonishingly, Megalodon bite marks have been found in whale bones. This monster probably measured well over 50 feet long!
  • Measures precisely 5.95" at longest edge; 5.57 inches second edge, and 5.00 inches wide wide. Weighs 453 grams.
  • Please select option (1) without the stand ($2400 USD), or wit the stand ($2435 USD)
