Large Jurassic Plesiosaur paddle from the Oxford Clay, UK (Peterborough). Very rare, old collection specimen (collected in the 1960’s).

The bone quality is superb and the three dimensional relief is gorgeous. Moreover, the paddle is dynamically presented, as if the reptile is swimming.

All of the bones are associated and they are inset into the slab.

Species: Cryptoclidus sp.

Age: Upper Jurassic
