In excellent condition, this gorgeous 66-inch fossil mammoth tusk with sections of green coloration was found preserved in the permafrost
Ready to be displayed in your home, office or museum, this tusk comes from a mammoth that trekked through the frozen tundra more than 20,000 years ago during the Late Pleistocene. A custom-made stained solid oak stand showcases its beautiful curvature.
Overall, this is a superb tusk tip because of its intact tip and stunning coloration, with a mixture of earthy brown, creamy white and even sections of rare green (due to vivianite mineralization).
Measures 66" long along outer curve, 3" in diameter and weighs 16.8 lbs. 44" high on the stand.
